oobleck
wahaha! during IS on thursdays we played with oobleck, which is cornstarch with water. according to my after-IS research, the ratio of water to cornstarch is 1:2, yl & tiff, not just 'very little water'. and we found out that mr sukandar likes ruffles. but i think lays is still better, esp lays sour cream and onion. and i gave yl and tiff free manicure, well actually disaster manicure. we were splashing that oobleck thingy on each other: hands, polo tee and the newspaper. hahaha :):)
but what actually is oobleck? i don't know. but according to my after-IS research again, it is some kind of Newtonion (correctly spelled?) fluids. i don't really know what that is, so forget it. and this happens to silly putty and glass too! it was invented by Dr. Seuss, the author of that cat in the hat book that i had when i was young and i guess i don't have it now. check out this you tube thing. i'm lazy to link it so just put the website. it has quite a detailed part on what we played in IS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nq3ZjY0Uf-g
youth day
yesterday was youth day, aka ruby goer day. (i donno how to spell!) and zikai said, "why must ruby goer(?) die now?" if he didn't die, we wouldn't have to make this construction thingy which was suppose to work but in the end failed. jia yi and mariel kept saying that their class was super and their construction rocks. i admit, their construction indeed rocks, and our construction, i guess you can say if we did it properly, it will rock too! anyway, the year 4s construction was super! haiz. they are 3 years older then us, so, probably their brains are better. haha. and i didn't quite enjoy youth day because two out of the seven games i can't play... (councillors, next time please try to make the games as class united as possible, not like traffic jam, only 6 ppl play)btw, i hope our construction works next year and next year, we're gonna prove 105 that we can do it too!!
some bits of my after-youth-day research. i realised rube goldberg is correct spelling, not ruby goer. he lived from 1883-1970. apperently he is dead but the council could ressurect him. haha. there is a rube goldberg machine contest where ppl make simple things difficult. i don't know why this crazy guy makes a simple thing so difficult for? just like min shang gong in chang jin says, "ping ping an an guo ri zi" i agree with her. go here and you'll c all rube goldberg's crazy inventions: http://www.thelivingweb.net/incredible_inventions.html; www.rubegoldberg.com

I finally plucked up the courage to create another blog! it looks similar to the previous blog, because i choose the same blogskin! i love it! the differences are: links, tagboard, url and of course the posts! i don't know why i deleted the previous blog but i did. anyway, my blog is up again and i want to put more things in it... that will have to take some time :) and to all those who linked me, thank you, but sorry you have to change the link... a bit ma fan, but i like this url. bye!
