Tis the feeling of not knowing what to do. Its just a lousy feeling. I've practiced the piano too. I've washed the dishes. I've chatted online to Vanessa. I've checked my email.
What's worse, exams are in two days... i mean the final ones (geog, chem and music). These are my three most important subjects; i must get As for them to pull up my CAP and hide the ugly mark of the english grade.
Photographic memory is the phenomenon to recall great amounts of information with great accuracy. Well, many people say i have that memory; its a gift from God. The problem is, like the article states, you remember a lot of things, and most of the time you don't want to remember them. True. I'm having difficulty forgetting the Vitamins and Mineral table that i memorised and is not tested!!! Aww. Great. Back to the question, do i have this memory? When i remember stuff, i picture everything, right down to the details like page number, chapter etc. Its fustrating. Because i have to scan through the entire thing and i cant just delete what i don't want to see...
Anyways, i don't know what to do :( i guess i'll be more bored after the exams. You see, i've memorised music terms and geog lecture notes, and i can't get them out of my head. Like a computer. Sighs. Chem, i intend to do it later.
Name some things for me to do after exams!!! Tell me which movies are nicee!! And which bookss!! Who's going to be nice and lend me books? Renee you owe me My Sister's Keeper!
Like Lion King Just can't wait to be King, i really can't wait to a lot of things... my dad says i can't wait till everything! Let's make a list of what i can't wait for this week to take my mind off studying for a while!
1. I can't wait until i finish studying maths, which means redoing selected tutorials because i forgot the concepts! 2. I just can't wait until exams are over which means slackk for one month(: And nes you owe me a story(: 3. I can't wait until i can stay hostel, because that means i can learn the violin(: 4. I can't wait until voice lessons can start again, because that means i can learn voice peacefully without worrying about school work 5. ... i don't know what else i can't wait till...
Hahaa. The next speech day has arrived(: and gone!(: i wonder how did choir do, does anyone have a recording? well, there might have been some off-pitches and rhythm problems, but i didn't notice because i was tooo tired. really... so i was more or less in a daze. how did i manage to go through speech day -.- oh lynn, did you hear the really sharp voice you heard during rehersals?
oh, the lunch on the actual day was fabulous compared to the other dinners!! it was.... curry chicken! i loved it!! too bad Renee can't eat it :( anyway, i thought that they should have mixed the curry with the rice more so its nicerr... and lynn ate one and a half packets... gosh. i couldn't even finish half a packet!
and on the way home from school in Marianne's car, Gold 90 FM was playing Celebration... the song orch played last year. brings back some lovely memories of staying late for rehersals and the nice full black we were allowed to wear, plus heels. and the not-so-nice memories of the many rehersals plus some nagging and screaming by Dr Wong and Mrs Lay.
aww. i sight-read the choir piece. my accompaniment sounds nothing like Ms Tay's!how am i going to play for SIMC:((( I think ms tay's sight-reading is propropro. i wish i could be as good as her :(
HHAHAA. THE TOPIC ON STRESS. Reminds me of the hilarious and interesting assembly we had on 9th april. I remember dates so well.
just going to list down a few things that's happening now. 1.I really want a B for physics :(:( I must work hard!! *ahems* 2.I really want a A+ for maths!! Ms Sie is so evil. i mean, you want to raise the standard, but not such a big jump right? 3.Okay, apart from academic...The year fives exams are over T.T. FINE. they still have their APs. I'll reach that stage soon. Don't you have this envy feeling when three year fives dressed in their nice clothes (*hints!*) walk past you in the canteen, talking and laughing.... and you're slogging over your assignment? aww. 4.What an exam timetable!!! Gosh, whose exams finish at four? aww. 5.I can't go for voice lessons for the next two weeks, because of the crappy speech day rehersals (okay, its better than last year one, trust me; we had at least ten rehersals last year) and the exam schedules... 6.I do hope i get an A for chem
7. SEVEN IS A BEAUTIFUL NUMBER. My tagboard is dead. Well, maybe its for beautification purposes?
It's just these pleasant surprises that make your day, right? Just like how Nes wrote about the nice teddy bear sticker sarah yong gave her that made her day. well, the Good sticker Ms Chua pasted on my Geog File brightened my day at first, since i always dread thursdays because there's PE. and the little small stickers Ji Eun,Junyan,Yanling,Jerdine gave me during mentoring, because we're supposed to make stickers for each other for friendship day. then there's the little surprise Bernadine gave me,i'm not supposed to say what it is, but she did give me a surprise which made me love it! Then Junyan made a little rose and a heart during math class which made me happier because ms sie was talking about how hard tomorrow's quiz will be, and i'm really scared. I don't want to break my chain of As! During chem, Mrs Soong gave me a yellow smiley sticker for my chem test (she's been giving me yellow stickers since forever) and made me happy because i was so worried that i did really badly for the test, though i'm still a little dissappointed with my marks; if i did not have those careless mistakes, then i'll score higher. Dad bought chocolate milk for me, yay! And mum cooked soup! And Mei decided to wash the dishes for me today. What a nice day!
Awww. Sometimes i wish that wishes you make upon a star really do come true. These are my wishes: 1. To get a high performer result for my G8 piano, after all, you have to end off the grades with a BANG right? 2. That all my homework will vanish into thin air 3. That i can learn the violin 4. That i can start getting As for my physics, when will that be?
I hate talking to some people online. There are just certain people who initiate a conversation with you and whenever you ask questions, they always avoid it, and say "don't know" or "..." These remind me of the kiasu spirit that was present in primary school. I'm not talking to you again online, you know why. It doesn't matter if you're smart, shouldn't you answer the question i ask and stop asking so many academic-related qns?
You know there's this craze currently on what you're majoring in year 5, i guess its the time we should seriously think about that question. But i'm in a dilemma. Should i major music? Yes because: 1. I love Music 2. The common excuse: I want to major music because i can't do physics 3. Music has been pulling my CAP up since...forever...
No because: 1. I might not be able to get G5 for voice by then 2. Music is not as easy as it seems 3. Music majors have to attend so many functions (eg. Masterclass, concerts...) 4. What if, i end up like Renee or Nes or Lynn being unhappy with the music cirriculum? 5. I don't like composition and theory. 6. I want practicalss!!!
Anyway, to Nes and Renee and Charmaine and Michelle and Aaron and Angela (Like they read this anyway): Hope your music exam went well and your do veryveryvery well! If it wasn't that good, then don't fret about it, it's over.
To all the year 6s and year 5s who happen to read this: All the best for your exams!! (Music majors, so sad you still have to go for CCAs, but never mind you'll do fine!)
