It isn't exactly a good thing that i get to skip school for the thousand day thing okay!!

19 more days to my birthday((:
In order not to remind me about the horrors of the checkup (checkups are always horrors to mee), i'm gonna blog about something interesting that happened.

Me(turing the rubik's cube):there, mummy, done!
Mummy:真聪明！
A boy sitting next to me, about 5 years old: I know how to solve the cube puzzle!
Me: Want to try? (hands him the cube)
Boy(fiddles with cube):Nah, i don't now.
Me,Mummy,His dad:*laughs*
Boy: I know! If you want purple on one side, take out all the stickers and paste it back.
Me: =.=

And i went swimmingg!! At the deep end, by myself, after the checkup, just to get the stickiness off my body...

Which was a total mistake

I wanted to make it for the celebration, but i didn't. Sigh.

I slept for 2 whole hours! Just woke up. Hurmph. Please show me pictures for the celebration pleaseeee
You know, if you do surveys, you should do one like Vicky's.

Vicky's survey was not as crappy as i thought it would be. I thought it would be something like, what have you learnt, how did you benefit from the camp, were your expectations met etc. The conventional type, you know. But woah.

Lemme tell you some of my responses.
Late night drumming: Not effective. Commented: So noisy, i cannot sleep! Or was it the techno music?
What was the best part of the camp: the food!! the huts, because they allowed me to learn more about my roommates *hints at Vicky*
What was the worse part of the camp: Not being able to sleep before Vicky and Jenny return to the huts.

Jiayous for exams, Hua Yi and Boon Lay students!!((: Yeah, you have to wait until our exams are over to go beach. *Sticks tongue out* And Allan and Chubbydiy, unless you buy me a roxy/billabong bikini, i'm not wearing one there. Jenny and Vicky would be your version of sexy babes. Lmao.

Sanyi just said Tiffany, her daughter dumbhead, not the one in my class, looks like me. No what. And even popo says so. And her expression also like me. And her character so similar to my younger days. Hurmph. I don't think so. But she's cute. I don't like her hairstyle. She should clip her fringe or cut it. And yeah, her eyes are big like mine, must be popo's recessive genes(:
I shall officially ban myself from bridge and msn till the end of the exams. I shall, i shall.

I know i can't do it, but i'll try. (refer to title) There's no harm trying right(: The ban starts tomorrow! So if you see me online, remind me! I am nerdier than 52% of all people. Are you a nerd? Click here to find out!

Music Ambassadors meeting was... interesting. You should see dr wong's laptop's wallpaper when you get a chance. Its super super ego! Just some random pictures of her against a curtain, with her hands spread out and her head turned to one side. She's wearing a yellow shirt (you know one of her big big shirts) and there's a blue stain or something at her cheek, i guess.

The meeting was supposed to start at 230pm, Dr Wong arrived at 250pm. Late... So Vanessa and I said, "Dr Wong, We learnt in the music camp that: being early is on time, being on time is late, being late is later than late", implying that dr wong is super super late. What was her reaction? "Huh?"

Then, Arts Fest!! Dr Wong basically let us see the entire schedule((: I won't reveal it... shall keep you in suspense! But we've got to pay money... and there's workshops and performances (chior's gonna perform!) And yes, we have to help out in a lot of stuff, free labour huh.

Project Black and White keys... basically Dr Wong's using the MAs as free labour :( Here's the funny part:
Vanessa: I want to be ticket-tearer. Or reception one.
Me: Oh, then i take charge of the food!
Michelle: Food again... Go music camp never eat enough is it?
Charmaine: Later you eat all the food then how?
Me: That's the point!

And yes yes! My wish came true! We got a choir t-shirt!! And a music ambassadors one(: Hahaha. But they're black. So cliche. :( Hurmph. Dr Wong says purple shirts if we don't want black, and no thanks, i guess i rather stick with black(:
Dr Wong: We going to have a tie? Then looks more formal
Forgot who: White tie?
Dr Wong: Let's standardize, white tie, plus music notes. Silver also can
Aaron: Just dunk ties into paint and wear them!
Dr Wong: Huh, then stain the shirt with silver paint?! ^_^

Drum circle presentation, she forgot about it, and made poor Bernadine sit through the meeting... she asked us for updates, we went, "We'll do everything IN THE MOMENT."(:
Ahhh, i'm so stressedd!! I wish i could relax.

I'm stressed. Actually there isn't symptoms of me being stressed yet, but since i've been having a sort-of-sore-throat for sometime after the camp, mummy clasifies it as stress. And today i've been having headaches, and not feeling like doing anything except playing piano. That's a sign of stress already.

Let's see why i'm stressed:
1. Geog Test, i can't get pass 1 set of notes
2. Chinese ting xie, which i havent studied for
3. Music Ambassadors board, which dr wong is bugging me to do something (but how can i do anything when you didn't tell me what to put up?)
4. Drum circle presentation, which means i have to stay back
5. JAZZ PRESENTATION. I'm so confused as to waht i have to do. And you know how high dr wong's expectations are, don't you.

Well, pass this week and everything will be okayy!! Then i can look forward to my birthday!!

I want to reverse time, back to the camp, back to the carefree years of year 1, back to the fun memorable years of primary school, the years where i never knew what stress was, and didn't understand how it felt when my friends complain they're stressed.

Sure, Vanessa, i agree with you. For those who didn't go for the music leadership camp, you won't want to know what kind of call and answers Shiyi does. Interesting, i admit, but it gets boring and hmm, weird. I pray he doesn't do call and answer during the presentation!

Okay, i'm not de-rhythmised yet, neither have i forgotten the music leadership camp. It was the best camp i've ever been to. And i won't forget Jenny and Vicky too, though i probably will never ever see them for a long long time. Yeah, they're coming for arts fest, but after that i won't see them for a long time. :( And for all the drum circlers, hahaha, i won't forget you either, and don't you forget me! We can always meet online and have a drum circle convo again XD

I want to join One Heart Beat!! But i've got to wait till i grow up then i can make it for all the practices, which end around 10 or 11pm :(

Let's see, today Ms Tay was missing for chior again. This time its FPS stuff. She keeps missing chior every alternate weeks or so. And i really really want the chior t-shirt! What's your problem, ms tay? Its like been so long since you've agreed to talk to Ms Angela Loh, and do you need THAT long?

I so love Dr Wong to take us for chior, even if its just an hour, or probably less than that. Orchestra was trying handbells. *Smiles* Campbell soup XD
Music Leadership Camp SHIOK!! Drum Circlers SHIOK!!

Thanks so much for letting me go for the music leadership camp, mummy.
This is how SHIOK the camp is:
  • Food SHIOK
  • Programme SHIOK
  • Bridge party SHIOK
  • Huts SHIOK -- there's air corn! and the beds!
  • Roommates SHIOK
  • Drum circles SHIOK

    • Oh my goodness, the list will go on. I was especially touched when i recieved all the cards at the end, you know the praises cards thing. And Mr Syed said i was a cheerful girl, entertaining us with Campbell soup XD

    Also, thanks Jenny for showing me how i lead in my own way, and model the way: jennywink = Jennlynny: Otherwise i wouldn't haVE met an amazing peson like you. U make me appreciate things around me tht i take for granted. Simple things like running up the stairs. You are such a strong girl to be taking things in your own stride all these while at such young age. We're nothing compared to what u been through.

    Thanks Drum Circlers for all the funn!! The dances etc.

    There you have it -- a new new metric system. (See title) Daddy didn't want to use his palm to measure because, "if i stretch my palm, then its shorter, so its inaccurate" Hmm, so i went to Bishan, without mei to buy a pair of pink slippers. And mummy was like, "I don't like slippers. I don't understand why you youngsters so crazy wear slippers everywhere. Lucky yours is just for camp. And cheap." Yeah, very cheap. Just three dollars. And mei saw it, "So nice i wantt!"

    Kirby that show is on tv at 3pm, kids central. Mei loves watching it. Its always Kirby get in trouble, and his friends just stand there and watch (help him larh!) And cheer him on, "Come on Kirby, i know you can do it!" Then this weird guy appears and throws Kirby something that makes him have some super power to defeat the evil guy. Then his friends go, "I knew you are great Kirby!" So cliche.

    Oh great. Now i have to miss CCA next friday just to go for the stupid doctor's appointment. I hate going there. All because last night i came down with a fever for an unknown reason. :( And mummy was being so funny giving me a massage on my head, when i insisted i had a fever, and she went, "Massage can already. You're perfectly fine."

    Hurmph. I can't wait till i go camp on thurs! I wonder how Sentosa will be like after so many years!!

    Happy Teacher's day to all teachers!! I really appreciate your effort in teaching us, especially Ms Canice Chua, who had to put up with our nonsense for so long(:

    Let's see, i think the Penguin exhibition at the Bird Park was so interesting!! Everyone was mesmerised by the swimming penguinss!! Joyce, just rip the pics off my blog(:. I went to the souvenior shop to buy a penguin keychain! I thought that one was so cute, compared to the colourful but spastic looking parrot.

    Teacher's day celebration was great, good job SC!! Lynn, you didn't ponn in the end ;D Prof Lai, you will be missed. But I told myself to make the best out of the situation, so kind of physco-ed myself that Prof Lai's stepping down will not affect the school(: I'll see if i'm right one day :D

    I gave Ms Tan the lily stalk thing, at first i didn't know what plant it was. Then, i gave it to Ms Tan, saying its from 206 and Happy Teacher's Day. She looked so happy, and said, "Lynnette! A lily plant! You must love botany now!" I said, "Yes, because you taught us botany." (Urms, i don't actually like botany because of all the terms etc, but at that point in time, i didn't catch what she was saying. Slow reaction. And she can identify the plant! WOW!)

    Ms Chua Bann had a lot a lot a lot of presents! Good job 106!! She was so happy, and when i walked by her she said, "Look! From 106! *points to the largest present she got* You really taught them well! Good job!" Hahaha. Thanks Ms Chua, i didn't know what i said to 106 during orientation would have an effect actually.
