Because i was rather bored from studying these few days, i've been watching tv. And guess what, the only not-so-boring tv show on during lunch time and after is Noody. Not to mention Hi-5, which i simply cannot stand. But then again, you have to give it to them, beacuse they can make a song about anything and everything and capture so many viewers' attention. How many people can do that?
Now, back to Noody. I think the show is rather ridiculous. Somehow, i analyse into the minute details, but i can't help it, because instinctively all these thoughts pop into my mind. I know, i know, Noody is a fictitious character created by Enid Blyton, and the show has been running since 1955. So technically, i have no right to critique the show, since so many people like the show. But as i said, i can't help it. So here goes.
First, i think Noody is way too young to obtain a driving licence for his car, much less a taxi licence for his taxi. Well, he looks young. Maybe he's a toy, that's all. But then again, how come his taxi only has something like two seats? A taxi should have more than two seats to ferry more people right? Oh and it doesn't have seat belts too! And, there was once that he was flying a plane, and it turned 360 degrees in the air, like one full circle. And that makes me wonder, how does he do that! And why doesn't he drop out of the plane since he doesn't wear a seatbelt?
Oh and how come after Sly and Gobbo commit all the crimes (like steal Noody's car, which makes me wonder how come he doesn't lock his car properly) they go into jail for such a short period of time, like the next story, they're out of jail already. I mean, for repeated offence, shouldn't the jail term be longer? So logically speaking, they should be jailed for something close to lifetime jail term, considering the number of acts they commit.
One last point (actually i have loads of points, but i'll spare you, hahah). So how come Noody repeatedly falls into the tricks of Sly and Gobbo? After so many times of being tricked, and knowing that Mr Plod sent them into jail so many times, shouldn't Noody be more cautious and suspicious of all their activities? Oh maybe he's just too innocent.
Or maybe i'm just reading to much into the story line. I can't wait until tomorrow, then i can watch 法证先锋 online! Oh can anyone find the cantonese version of this show? Or a version that loads fast, because this version i'm using is taking forever to load, like hours. thanks.
