Just Random Stuff?
Whee Hee! Okay, Junior olympiad was kind of easy, and open was rubbish. I was drawing some things on my open olympiad paper, and i shall post it when i have time =) I love maths. I have always loved maths. I prob major in maths one day. or prob not. i want to be an accountant!
Ms Tay's coming back!! Yay!! I just hope she would be in charge of choir! She's so so nice! Okay, Mrs Lay is kind of nice too, but the way she does things just don't suit us. It's like she expects us to suit her. Aww.
I want to watch Shrek 3!! But it opens only tomorrow... =( oh, and mr samuel lee said shengzhe looks like shrek, and so do nelson. uhh... Or maybe watch Nancy Drew. I read those books since young, and i rmb the 1st time i read it, mum was like, "try this book. i think u wld like it." and that was nancy drew notebooks. =) I fell in love with it ever since. Haha. But. I think the notebooks stories are easy to predict, and also really simple to solve. But interesting, since they're kids. And the other yellow cover books are more 'scary', mysterious, and more fun!
Happy Birthday Jiahui! I will get you a present, but probably not so soon. Haha.
I can't believe it. Chester got 4.8, Natalie got 4.83. Why are they so good? Or is it the syllabus are just being made easier after they slaughtered all of us? Not fair! I hate this school.
Science Fair
Okay, i helped out at the science fair. Basically our job was to mark attendance for those bus loads that came, give out NEWater bottles, and slack. Okay, not in that order, but it doesnt matter anyway. So we WERE slacking. I got so bored that Wai Ling and I went around the booths... and i must say that i was disappointed with St. Nicks.
1)they spilled/did donno what on the floor, so WE had to call the auntie to clean up 2)when we went there, they were still playing, and didnt bother to explain to us 3)they didnt know what their proj was abt -- obviously ms tan was so nice to do it all for them 4)they were hogging the passageway 5)their stupid teacher, the stupid anne-marie person or sth like that didnt bother at all. when they ditired the floor, she was still talking. come on, its your school. st. nicks is a failure this time.
Today there were a lot of accidents. One guy's finger, one girl, and the chemistry model. Pri sch kids are really... okay, i can't say anything, if not Prof Lai will say, you were once a kid. And we will go, nono, we were so guai...
So ironic. Today the teachers 忙得要疯了，我们闲着没事做！Hahaa!
Then i went to watch Blades of Glory with Rachel!! Haha! It was so funny. We were laughing and laughing... =)
me today
i seriously think MOE needs some help. they make the chinese syllabus so easy, that my sis, and her friends, who are p6 now, cant type a simple chinese compo on the com. and that's cuz the com uses hanyu pinyin. so every single word they have to check, or take so long to get the pinyin. she and her friends take 1h plus to type a 2 page compo for teacher. and i took less than 15 mins. haha.
and you people better get sth nice for ms lim! she moderated our marks like crazy to pull our CAP up by 0.05! and her bday is on thurs.

My mood
Lynnette is sad because she cannot go to school, especially after this "giddy attack" this afternoon where she suddenly felt headache, giddy and sleepy. Lynnette is sad because ms lim is sick so she cant visit her. However, Lynnette is happy that Mr. Imbufe called to say that she did well in her chem exam =) and that she will be going *she thinks* paragon with Dr Seah, Ms Canice Chua, and Ms Adeline Koh tomorrow. Lynnette is confused if she should continue to be a psl or not. Lynnette will soon get these thoughts sorted out. She will. =)

okay i had this scary dream last night. the cat (the one that dear ms lim 'hugged' me cuz i was so scared when it ran past me; it bit my sis friend and chased my sis, so i was scared) was chasing after me. then i run run run until the lift lobby. and this troop of blue uniform security guards hollered at me to stop there. i so scared. the cat moved closer to me. threatening to scratch me. then suddenly, it went so close to me, and claws almost touch me, when, bang! and it fell dead in front of me. i was so so so scared!
i am okay now, though sometimes i feel giddy -- esp when i type too fast, or turn my head too fast, like when practising piano and turing the pages or crossing hands. i shall not practice piano =) wow, teacher will be fuming.
the ms low the councillor called mummy and asked abt me. haha. so nice. was chatting with ms lim on msn this morn. wanted to send her a nice pic of Es Ki, but her PC got problem. so i tell her ask ms sim fix. she ask why. i say, ms sim is good at everything. she say, orh, i tell ms sim she's wonderwoman alr =) hahahaha.
i'll rest at home and recover quick. i know that God will be with me. =) mummy says i have to be strong, and no matter what happens, she will be calling me. i will be strong, mummy.

hhahaa! i shall blog more about ms lim's visit on sunday. she was s o so nice, and gave me a cute bear, which i named Es Ki. And its a bear that wears a pink fur coat. oh and the stupid cat was bothering us. and she returned by vibrations and waves exam paper. okay, she said i did well =) yay.
yesterday i sms-ed her, "ms lim your bear bear dying of heat stroke. spore so hot still wear fur coat" she said, "then strip him and bring him for a bath" seriously, which "He-bear" wears a PINK fur coat? so is said, "then bring him to suntan. i think i better give him ice-cream. downstairs got cat" she said, "bear not scared of cat. he will protect you"
i mean, she was seriously free =0 or she was just bored and entertained by my rubbish, because i was bored too. u see, how long can you practice piano for? practice scales, exam pieces, old exam pieces, pop songs... but at most only 3 hours right. and now i just practiced 3 hours of piano.
stupid medicine. tastes like cola sweet, looks like dung. its green. and yucky. i hate it. now i have to take 4 medicine. wahhh. wish i didnt faint. but its a blessing in disguise, isnt it?

after math of fainting
wahhh. my 51th post! okay, i didnt blog often... anyway, thanks everybody for asking me if i were okay! let's see how many ppl i can list (not in order/favorite): alvin, jerdine, mr lee, ms lim, ms canice chua, dr seah, xinyuan, fiza, danielle, jiayi, lynn, tricia loo (not skippy), wei ren, zi kai, rachel, raghav, joanna, debra, ... (lots of other people, i cant remember!)
okay, i feel much much better now... i'm not sure if i'm going school and joining you people for outing =( but anyway, jiayou for exams!

fainting
i fainted today. in the audi. it was scary. first assembly. stood up. then sing national anthem. then got a sharp heart pain then i grabbed fiza and i think sat down. soon, ms candice chua and ms koh li ling were patting me. went to sick bay. didnt take physics or maths exam. then slept there. i was so scared that i cried when mummy called me. dr seah was calling mummy. ms chua was nice. she was sitting beside me and patting me. and ms fong was sitting on the bed and marking. at least because ms chua was patting me i didnt feel so scared.
mr imbufe very funny. he came to see me at the sick bay and at the staff pantry. very free, eh. he kept boasting that the chem exam was easy. he was like, by the looks of it, i think you enjoyed the exams. i asked, how many would score full marks. he said, o h, i'll start marking tomorrow. go mark now lar! i don need you. also nvr do anything. and i felt uncomfortable and scared with him around leh. then he asked me if i think i would get full marks. i said, no, i donno how to do 1 question so cant get full marks and make you eat yourself.
then i needed to go washroom. we went out of the sick bay. was surprised how stuffy the sick bay was. at least make the air corn better. the person inside is sick, okay! and then dr seah knew it was stuffy so she suggested me sleeping at staff pantry. cool. love the sofa. ms chua gave me a BIG cup of hot milo. so sad i drank half of it and vomitted that half out, in the staff pantry! okay, i vomitted at the sink, didnt dirty anything. except some small dots on my polo tee.
dr seah, ms chua, daddy were talking about something weird. i was lying down. ms chua was patting me. juz vommitted. then they said sth abt kiasu. imbufe said, what is kiasu? what language is it? i said, ah, nigerian english? or another type of african english? he said, no no, not nigerian english. ms chua was trying to explain it to him, saying sth abt wanting to catch the rat or sth like that.
then we went home. i slept. and ate lunch. then went to see doctor. hate him. each time i faint he add a new medicine for me. yuck. at least he does injections very very fast. as fast as you say ting continuously 5 times. i didnt even know he was giving me a jab. okay now much better. i hope i dont have to go school on mon =) got an mc from doctor. he don want me to go school. he says he don believe in exams. but i can still go it i want =)

Ms Lim was so nice yesterday, and gave us marmee noodles! And she gave me a packet of sweets for helping her write this email to her HOD to say that it was not physics but chemistry that cannot finish the syllabus.
Ms Sim is so so nice. She's still willing to help me do some last minute things... basically because i got C+ for eng ca. i must get A for exam. i know i can do it, so i shall do it.
FPS and mr. Imbufe
Okay... Today's wednesday, and we had chemistry. Dear dear cheryl was just so bored in chemistry that she started singing, "Dum Dum..." and Mr. Imbufe got her to read the powerpoint slide, which was, as usual, black words on a white background. Then came FPS. Okay, i admit, FPS with Mr. Png was not very interesting. But with Mr. Imbufe... Hmm... and i shall narrate what happened here. On a sidenote: 'm.i.' stands for mr. imbufe', and for the rest of the characters, i shall spell out their name, since mr. imbufe is the main main character. :)
Scene 1:
we were doing our FPS proposal on Wei Ren's laptop. i was so bored waiting for them to give me the things to type that i started singing 'Singing in the Rain' and 'Let's go fly a kite'. must have gotten the crazy cheryl disease. sorry, cheryl! i guess it was my singing that m.i. came over and took a look. weiren (wr)'s laptop was taking such a longggg time to read my thumbdrive. when i click on my computer, it gives this torchlight scanning the disk. m.i.: are your playing games? no games. do the serious stuff (looks at the torchlight scanning the disk on wr's lappy) (actually they were playing games -- one reason why wr's lappy lacked) lewis (l): no, we're waiting for wr laptop to read the thumbdrive m.i.: okay, okay, continue (walks away)

m.i. comes back to our side to check on our progress. l was playing with wr's phone. m.i.: lewis, are u calling your girlfriend? me: lewis doesn't have a girlfriend! l: (points to ivan) he has a girlfriend me: (points to wr) and so does he m.i.: i know, i know, someone in the other class revealed the owner of the girl

sometime later, near 3.10, m.i. comes back to our table. l and wr were 'fighting' over wr's phone m.i.: why u fighting? (points to ivan) he is the most quiet boy me: yes, if not i would tell his girlfriend. m.i.: ahh. then how abt him (points to wr) wr: i don't have a girlfriend! m.i.: don't u feel happy, you have a girlfriend

FPS steps 1 to 3 done on soft copy me: Mr Imbufe, can we email you the things we done? Its finished. m.i.: no, no. if you email me, i get extra work. i have to open my mailbox, print the email, and grade you me: okay, we go print now m.i.: and you give me extra work... (rattles on about the extra work, basically repeating the previous sentence he said a few times) me: okay, okay, relax. we go print it l: but, we can only give you at 4 (actually wanted to have more time for steps 1 to 3) m.i.: why? l: we have to go computer lab and print m.i.: you have a common computer lab. oh! l: ya. and the printer there always very choongg (i think this was what he said. or was it crowded?) me: (got the message) ya. and so we have to wait. sometimes wait for 1 hour m.i.: okay, okay. as long as you drop it in my mailbox by today

5 mins before end of FPS. the boys went com lab to print the FPS steps 1 to 3. Jerdine and me: Mr Imbufe, can we go to the washroom m.i.: ya. go. take your time. you can kill time

Ms Sim is so so nice. She's still willing to help me do some last minute things... basically because i got C+ for eng ca. i must get A for exam. i know i can do it, so i shall do it.
FPS and mr. Imbufe
Okay... Today's wednesday, and we had chemistry. Dear dear cheryl was just so bored in chemistry that she started singing, "Dum Dum..." and Mr. Imbufe got her to read the powerpoint slide, which was, as usual, black words on a white background. Then came FPS. Okay, i admit, FPS with Mr. Png was not very interesting. But with Mr. Imbufe... Hmm... and i shall narrate what happened here. On a sidenote: 'm.i.' stands for mr. imbufe', and for the rest of the characters, i shall spell out their name, since mr. imbufe is the main main character. :)
Scene 1:
we were doing our FPS proposal on Wei Ren's laptop. i was so bored waiting for them to give me the things to type that i started singing 'Singing in the Rain' and 'Let's go fly a kite'. must have gotten the crazy cheryl disease. sorry, cheryl! i guess it was my singing that m.i. came over and took a look. weiren (wr)'s laptop was taking such a longggg time to read my thumbdrive. when i click on my computer, it gives this torchlight scanning the disk. m.i.: are your playing games? no games. do the serious stuff (looks at the torchlight scanning the disk on wr's lappy) (actually they were playing games -- one reason why wr's lappy lacked) lewis (l): no, we're waiting for wr laptop to read the thumbdrive m.i.: okay, okay, continue (walks away)
Scene 2:
m.i. comes back to our side to check on our progress. l was playing with wr's phone. m.i.: lewis, are u calling your girlfriend? me: lewis doesn't have a girlfriend! l: (points to ivan) he has a girlfriend me: (points to wr) and so does he m.i.: i know, i know, someone in the other class revealed the owner of the girl
Scene 3:
sometime later, near 3.10, m.i. comes back to our table. l and wr were 'fighting' over wr's phone m.i.: why u fighting? (points to ivan) he is the most quiet boy me: yes, if not i would tell his girlfriend. m.i.: ahh. then how abt him (points to wr) wr: i don't have a girlfriend! m.i.: don't u feel happy, you have a girlfriend
Scene 4:
FPS steps 1 to 3 done on soft copy me: Mr Imbufe, can we email you the things we done? Its finished. m.i.: no, no. if you email me, i get extra work. i have to open my mailbox, print the email, and grade you me: okay, we go print now m.i.: and you give me extra work... (rattles on about the extra work, basically repeating the previous sentence he said a few times) me: okay, okay, relax. we go print it l: but, we can only give you at 4 (actually wanted to have more time for steps 1 to 3) m.i.: why? l: we have to go computer lab and print m.i.: you have a common computer lab. oh! l: ya. and the printer there always very choongg (i think this was what he said. or was it crowded?) me: (got the message) ya. and so we have to wait. sometimes wait for 1 hour m.i.: okay, okay. as long as you drop it in my mailbox by today
Scene 5:
5 mins before end of FPS. the boys went com lab to print the FPS steps 1 to 3. Jerdine and me: Mr Imbufe, can we go to the washroom m.i.: ya. go. take your time. you can kill time
by the time we returned from the washroom, from taking random photos of the sky and other things, m.i. was gone
such an interesting FPS second session. i wish this were our school life. =)
