i know i havent been blogging for such a long time. basically i dont have the time to and now i cant blog for long. i have to go for piano lessons soon. well, in dec i was away on holiday and also at school for the orientation preparation thing.
i want to write more about the orientation 07 than about the rest of the things that happened this few months. well, i took 106 during orientation and found out that there were quite a few interesting people there.
there's timothy, who's obessessed with paper aeroplanes, as it is his hobby to fold them. there's hilda, who has this very high-pitched and cute voice when she says, "thank you!!" or "hello!!", or to timothy, "quiet!!".she's quite polite actually. then there's wayne, who's email is clever_wayne and he is indeed clever cuz he managed to accelerate basic algebra and basic musicianship. then tricia, who is so unlike skippy, cuz she wears a purple specs and is quite childish. there's aiysah, who's quite quiet but very helpful. chester is kinda big size and shahid is michevious, tho they claim they are both taller than me. and praveer and ananya are both small size, which was quite funny when they were given size M or L for orientation Tee shirt. oh and there's wei ren, who is unlike wei ren in my class, for he is far shorter than wei ren in my class, who is now the assistant mentor rep, assisting yl.
okay... and guess who's their mentor... MS CHUA BANN!! they are SOOOO lucky! and i have no idea why chester and shahid (who are good friends, tho the class usu sit together during lunch) suddenly asked me how often does ms chua go online. and i said the last time she was online was probably my bday cuz i rmb i thanked her for the present.
106 is really nice, they gave me, yl, tiff nice presents! let's see... Aisyah made cards for all of us, and gave tiff and yl 15 stickers, giving me only 12 =(, but i guess it was not deliberate, like she said, so never mind. Spencer(is he spencer or dillen? sigh. always mix up spencer&dillen, dillen&jamos) gave us dairy milk chocs. oh yes, he's spencer, i rmb timothy said mark and spencer gave it to us. then, uh...oh! shahid gave us chips more and i guess it was dillen or hilda (sigh, cant rmb) gave us jellybeans!
and... timothy folded me a really weird looking paper aeroplane which looks like a real aeroplane, except for the size, but also is full of staples. and he knew abt our bio hw, the comic one, cuz i told him (duh!) and he wanted to draw for me some kind of lizard for the asexual reproduction. lizard... is he sure? i better do some back up work in case the lizard is not a lizard that undergoes asexual reproduction.
well, i could say that 206 was really great during the inter-level games, as they did helped 106 to solve the qns. there was some form of bonding among 106 and 206, i can say. however, i hope cheryl did not tell them anything they were not suppose to know. and tiff advised timothy not to take the lift with timothy chua for he flirts, but timothy chua seldom takes the lift, right?
anyway, i had a sore throat after orientation. i guess there should be more encouragement to drink water. was so busy getting people like timothy, praveer, jamos, dillen etc to eat lunch/break that we didnt eat lunch/break properly and had no time to fill our bottles. =(
i guess the mass dance was kinda weird. it was meant to be boy-girl, but ended up boy-boy and girl-girl, as mentioned by mr lee in his email. okay... but we enjoyed it, so that's what matters. ISV's vision: Have Fun! haha. i hope to do mass dance more often as in during the school year as part of morning exercise, as we did during pre-orientation camp as well as the orientation preparation days.
