My mum's above rubies magazine has arrived. Being bored and curious, i read it. Its about mums, wives and stuff. But i realise something important. Children are a blessing from God. I asked my mum if its true. She says ya, and continues to watch tv. But for some reason at night, she said that she was very happy when she had me, and to see me go to pri sch, and sec sch, and be a psl. She only wants me to be happy. And she said that whatever i do, i must follow my heart, and do what i like, not what she wants. Mummy loves me. Unconditionally. But i realise, that when i do things for her, like chores etc, i expect a reward (chocolate!) in return. I promise myself not to do that again. Mummy really loves me and cares for me despite my illness. She gave up her precious job (i donno what) when i was young to look after me. She let me learn the piano. She taught me everything i need to do well in exams. She paid for my hefty medical fees. She encourages me to always do my best. Like the nurse said, she's a strong mother to care so much for such a daughter. And i'm a strong girl, because mummy's always there for me. She prays for my miracle healing. She worrys about me all the time. She gave me that $0 phone, even though i could see she wanted it. She cooks the best and healthiest food for me. Above Rubies. That's my mummy. I thank God for such a wonderful and caring mother, that no one but ME has.
Above Rubies.
