The books/magazines i read these 2 weeks greatly outnumber the books i read this semester. I have listed them here: Agatha Christie, Hostile Hospital & Carnivourous Carnival by Lemony Sniket, Above Rubies x3, Newsweek x5, Annette Smith, Falling Leaves, Spore Scientist x2, Mitch Albom x2, Ikea catalogue & Popular catalogue (i just love reading them), newspapers, business times online, Baroque period & Classical period by ABRSM, Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby, A christmas Carol, 好作文 x4
Went back for Youth Day prep yesterday. We were to thread the pouches. So we did, and threaded about 200 pouches. And Eugene said the ends of the thread must meet at the place where we sewed the pouches... and made us redo all those that are wrong!! So, we only managed to do 200 pouches in 2 hours! How slow is that?!
Yesterday also went for a buffet lunch at Oriental Ocean, Miramar Hotel. Ate 29 dishes (1 short of 30!) for 1 1/2 hour. It was delicious! And nice! And worth it!! Ask me for details, but you have to be able to read chinese, because the menu is in chinese, you can ask the waiters for help, of course.
My sis saw my hp wallpaper, which is the pic of the teachers and me at Paragon (see Sat 2 June 07). She can actually recognise them without seeing them before! Here's what she said. This must be Dr seah. You always talk about her, and she looks so kind, 慈祥。This must be that ms adeline koh, cuz you said that time that her specs were white, so ugly, and that she should change her specs. I think this is ms sim, cuz she looks very fierce and strict. So the last one must be that ms candice (she didnt pronounce properly) chua, she looks quite nice. Actually all are pretty. (:
Anyway, Ms Sim is a wonderwoman. Cuz ms lim said so. Okay, here's how it goes. Ms Lim wanted to see a pic of es ki. I sent her. She can't recieve it through msn. She said her laptop is always like that. Got problem. Then i said, ask ms sim fix. Why? Because she's sitting beside you, and she's very good at fixing these stuff. (You should know our class projector always has problems, and ms sim can always fix it.) So she said, i tell her ah? I say, tell lar, its okay. She said, i told her you called her a wonderwoman. And what did she say? Why you still got time to joke with students when you so busy? (Marking scripts day) Ms lim say, so sad. I say, yar, she should be happy someone praise her. hahaha.
