I know that some people do get irritated of  random rantings during mentoring. Yes, i do agree that it isn't nice to single out people like that and blatantly tell them their faults in front of the entire class. I wouldn't like that if i were a boy; thank God i'm a girl, a nice sweet girl. But sometimes, we need to take a step back and reflect. If what she says is true, is there any way you can improve it? If she praises you, don't be complacent, but think of how to use that praise to your advantage. In a way, we eight lovely girls miss out on that, because we seldom get feedback on our behaviour, character and attitude. But we could learn from what she points out to the boys and make sure we don't act the same way. Or shall i say similar way, because there is a marked gender difference between the two sexes.

Just like Rudyard Kipling's poem IF... you're a man. The irony of it all, this post refers to the boys in my class, the boys who gave me lots of fun and lots of help these two years, which are my best two years of my life. There's more than surface meaning, and its really a meaningful poem.
IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,

I got tickets to the Vienna Boys Choir! Cool right! :P I hope Claire's idea of a Final Fantasy Choir Concert comes through next year. Even if it doesn't, we could still have some choir camp thing with a nice theme right?
