Completed Scores

mood: stress

I realise that these few days i've been emo-ing about exams. Its called 'exam-stress': the stress that comes with exams as you contemplate your fate even before you take the paper. The anxiousness that what you've studied is insufficient, the worry that the paper has loads of higher order thinking (HOT!) questions that you're unable to do under exam stress and the nervousness that you can't finish the paper in time.

After the paper, its always heaving a huge sigh of relief that the paper wasn't that bad and what you've studied could bring you to a good enough score; it may not be an A because there're loads of difficult questions that you probably didn't do correctly, but it should be something like a B.

Tomorrow's physics paper and i'm petrified. Again. Brian told me yesterday that there's no use being scared even if you didn't study because that'll affect your brain power and a clear brain is the best thing for an exam. Still, i worry. Physics has always been an obstacle, a chore and a bore to study and revise. I could never catch the concepts; even if i do, they don't stick long. After that, i can't apply the concepts to the questions; its merely plucking in formulas in the hope of getting some marks. Bio's different; its memory. And its not i'm smart, i just have a great memory.
